      • Each paying guest receives six food tastings and two drinks. The planned menu balances three savory and three sweet specialties.
      • Planned savory tastings are grilled German sausage with mustard—Bratwurst; traditional soft pretzel—Laugenbrezel; and crispy potato pancake with applesauce—Kartoffelpuffer.
      • Planned sweet tastings are caramelized roasted almonds—gebrannte Mandeln; golden quark doughnuts—Quarkbällchen; and German spiced gingerbread—Lebkuchen.
      • Snacks and samples are subject to change depending on seasonal menus, stall opening hours, fresh stock, vendor availability and confirmed dietary requirements. Comparable substitutions preserve the six-food tasting count. Their order and market locations may change.
      • This is a sampling experience with small portions, rather than six full dishes or a guaranteed meal replacement. Some specialties may be divided from larger servings, with an individual portion allocated to each paying guest.
      • Two drinks per person are included. Available choices may include mulled wine, alcohol-free hot punch, hot chocolate or a soft drink, depending on the selected stalls.
      • Under our tour policy, alcoholic drinks are offered only to guests aged 18 and over. Alcohol-free alternatives are available.
      • Please advise us of allergies and dietary requirements when booking. Vegetarian substitutions require advance confirmation. Vegan, gluten-free and severe-allergy requirements must be discussed before booking.
      • Independent vendors prepare the food. Recipes may contain nuts, milk, eggs, gluten, mustard and other allergens; an allergen-free preparation environment cannot be guaranteed.

      • Please wear warm clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Seating and sheltered areas cannot be guaranteed.
      • Landmark sightseeing is primarily outdoors.
      • Your guide may adjust the order of stops and tastings because of crowds, weather, construction or security restrictions while maintaining the included tasting allocation.
      • Please contact us before booking about wheelchair access or other mobility requirements. Cobblestones, crowds and temporary market surfaces may affect accessibility.
      • Bring only a small day bag. Gendarmenmarkt restricts large bags and outside food and drinks, and does not provide luggage storage.
      • Your guide can take photographs on your phone. This is informal assistance rather than a professional photography session.
      • Reusable mugs are returned after the included drinks. Keeping a mug as a souvenir is an optional additional purchase.
