      • The tour tells a much broader story than the Holocaust alone. You’ll explore Jewish community life, Enlightenment thinkers, education, architecture, immigration, persecution, resistance, remembrance and the revival of Jewish life in Berlin today.
      • Think of your guide as your local friend and storyteller, connecting famous landmarks with personal stories, hidden memorials and small details you might otherwise walk straight past.
      • The itinerary combines substantial walking with one short public-transport ride between the Holocaust Memorial and the Jewish Quarter to maximize sightseeing time. Public-transport fares are not included; many visitors already have a Berlin travel pass.
      • Most sites are experienced from the exterior or public memorial areas. This keeps the tour moving while allowing you to experience significantly more of Jewish Berlin in three hours.
      • A brief visit to Otto Weidt’s Workshop for the Blind may be possible when museum capacity permits. Admission is free.
      • The New Synagogue / Centrum Judaicum interior is not included in the standard tour. • The Holocaust Memorial portion covers the outdoor Field of Stelae, not the underground Information Centre.
      • Exact route order or individual minor stops may change because of museum capacity, religious holidays, security requirements, public transportation, construction, events or temporary access restrictions while preserving the tour’s major highlights.
      • This is primarily a walking tour, so comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
      • Your guide will be happy to share personalized recommendations for Jewish museums, synagogues, cultural sites, cafés and additional Berlin landmarks to explore independently after the tour.
      • Perfect for Jewish and non-Jewish travelers, first-time visitors, families, history lovers and anyone who wants to understand Jewish Berlin as a story of life, culture, persecution, courage, remembrance and renewal.
      • This is a deeply human Jewish Berlin experience—not only Holocaust history, but centuries of Jewish life, ideas, community, resilience and the Jewish Berlin that exists today.
