Warm up at La Caféothèque, where coffee is appreciated like fine wine. Enjoy one selected hot drink and sweet—perhaps cappuccino with caramel-and-nut cookie—and conversation about Parisian life. Café du Marais may substitute.

Choose five hours for 42 stops, including five covered passages, Stohrer, gourmet Montorgueil and the bakery crowned Greater Paris’s best butter croissant winner in 2026. Seasonal displays and Christmas chalets depend on dates.

      • Infants must sit on your lap
      • Not wheelchair accessible
      • Infant seats unavailable
      • The 3-hour option explores Le Marais and finishes beside Square de la Tour Saint-Jacques. The 5-hour option continues through Les Halles, Montorgueil and the covered passages, finishing at Passage Verdeau.
      • Your tour includes one seated café experience, with one hot drink and one sweet per guest from the selected assortment. This is a refreshment break rather than a full meal.
      • La Caféothèque is our planned venue, a café, artisan roastery and coffee school founded in 2005. Drink examples include cappuccino, tea, roasted Brazilian maté, flat white or hot chocolate. Sweet examples include chocolate–hazelnut brownie, caramel-and-nut cookie, milk-chocolate cookie, lemon–poppy-seed cake or carrot cake. Included pairings depend on the available selection.
      • If La Caféothèque is closed or seating is unavailable, your guide may arrange the included experience at Café du Marais. Its menu differs, so an equivalent selected drink and sweet will be offered.
      • La Caféothèque currently opens Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday 9:30 a.m.–7 p.m. Café du Marais currently opens daily 8 a.m.–2 a.m. Holiday hours, kitchen service and pastry availability may differ.
      • Le Loir dans la Théière is a brief exterior storytelling stop. Only one seated café visit is included.
      • Please share allergies or dietary requirements after booking. Suitable alternatives depend on the café’s selection, and an allergen-free preparation environment cannot be guaranteed.
      • The three-hour route covers approximately 4 km; the five-hour route approximately 8 km. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothing suitable for Paris winter weather.
      • This is an active sightseeing walk. Some smaller landmarks receive brief introductions while walking, with longer pauses at the principal sights and café.
      • Sight counts include individual landmarks, streets, shops, café addresses and passages. Museum and monument interiors are not included.
      • Christmas decorations, shop windows and seasonal events vary by date. Hôtel de Ville’s chalet programme is currently planned for December 4, 2026–January 3, 2027, subject to final confirmation. Earlier departures do not guarantee a Christmas-market visit.
      • Rue Montorgueil and the covered passages are permanent shopping destinations, not additional Christmas markets.
      • Covered passages and individual shops have different opening schedules. Passage du Grand-Cerf normally closes on Sundays; on affected departures, your guide provides an exterior introduction and adjusts the nearby discoveries.
      • The five-hour option includes exterior introductions to Musée Grévin and Choco-Story. Admission and visits inside are not included. If you wish to visit Grévin afterward, choose an early departure and check its date-specific last admission separately.
      • Please let your guide know whenever you need a restroom or a short rest. Facilities and seating depend on the venues visited. Larger groups may require café arrangements in advance.
      • Your guide can adapt the emphasis toward architecture, photography, local culture or shopping. Changes must fit the booked duration and may replace other stops.
      • Tours normally operate in light rain. Please bring suitable clothing; covered passages provide some shelter but are not necessarily heated.
      • An optional finish at your centrally located hotel may be arranged in advance within the scheduled duration. Travel time may require shortening or replacing sightseeing stops. Additional transport and private transfers are not included.
